RALEIGH – The NC State gymnastics team is set to compete in its final EAGL Championship meet on Saturday, Mar. 18 at New Hampshire.
The Pack will compete in the evening session, with the first rotation set to begin at 7 p.m. alongside Towson, New Hampshire, and North Carolina. Fellow conference foes George Washington, LIU, Pitt, and Temple will each face off in the afternoon session at 1 p.m.
NC State enters Saturday's contest having most recently competing on Mar. 12, with the Wolfpack posting a third-place 196.375 in a quad meet at Texas Woman's University with Florida and Washington.
The Pack is in search of its seventh EAGL Championship crown, with the current six titles marking the most amongst any member of the league. Head coach Kim Landrus has one EAGL championship under her belt, as the Wolfpack won the league in her inaugural season as head coach in 2018.
With NC State set to join the ACC in 2024 alongside Pitt, North Carolina, and Clemson's upstart program, Saturday will mark the final EAGL Championship meet for the three schools. The Wolfpack were charter members of the league that begin competing during the 1996 season, claiming its first conference championship in 1999.
The meet is set to be broadcast on Youtube, with live stats available online.
