
Wolfpack to Host Quad Meet for Senior Day

RALEIGH - The NC State gymnastics team is set to host Florida, Rutgers and Penn Friday, March 11 at 7 p.m. for its annual Senior Day meet.
The first 300 fans at the meet will receive a free rally towel.

LAST TIME OUT
NC State posted the third-highest score in program history with a 196.925 at Maryland with Yale and William & Mary. The team crossed the 49.0 mark on all four events, highlighted by a season-high 49.100 on vault and a 49.325 on floor.
Emily Shepard tied the program record for career 9.9 marks at the meet with a 9.900 on beam and a 9.925 on floor.
SCOUTING THE GATORS
Florida is the second-ranked team in the country, coming into the meet with a National Qualifying Score (NQS) of 197.970. The Gators rank second in the country on vault and beam, third on bars and fourth on floor.
Senior Trinity Thomas ranks in the top five nationally on vault, bars and beam, and senior Nya Reed is the No. 1 gymnast in the country on floor.
SCOUTING THE SCARLET KNIGHTS
Friday's competition will mark the third meeting of the season between NC State and Rutgers. The Scarlet Knights rank 44th nationally with an NQS of 195.585.
Belle Huang checks into the Big Ten individual rankings on vault at seventh with an NQS of 9.920.
SCOUTING THE QUAKERS
Penn ranks 52nd in the country, holding an NQS of 194.625. The team is the highest-ranked in the Gymnastics East Conference (GEC).
Kiersten Belkoff and Isabel Song rank in the top five of the GEC on vault. McCaleigh Marr is third in the league on beam, and Sara Kenefick checks into the conference floor rankings at fourth.
