Wolfpack Falls in First Round at Cary ATP Challenger

CARY, N.C. - Three members of the NC State men's tennis program competed at the Cary ATP Challenger on Tuesday, falling in their respective opening matches.
Freshmen Luca Staeheli made a good showing in his singles match, taking Mukund Saskimar to a third set but ultimately falling in a 6-3, 5-7, 6-2 decision.
Robin Catry and Damien Salvestre took on the fourth-seeded doubles pair in the tournament, competing against Christian Harrison and Dannis Novikov. Catry and Salvestre made a strong effort in the match but were defeated 6-3, 6-4.
