Benjamin Shipp finishes in a tie for 50th place for NC State

SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ. – The NC State men's golf team completed its 2021 season at the NCAA Championships at the Grayhawk Golf Club on Sunday
The Pack moved up the team standings every round, ultimately finishing in 20th place. The top-15 teams advanced to the final round of stroke play.
Benjamin Shipp led the Pack over the three-day tournament with a score of seven-over par to finish in a tie for 50th place.
Maximilian Steinlechner was next for the Pack in a tie for 67th place at nine-over par. Steinlechner had the best round all tournament for NC State on Sunday, shooting a two-under par 68.
Christian Salzer finished in a tie for 97th-place at 12-over par.
Carter Graf was next for the Pack, finishing in a tie for 102nd at 13-over par.
Easton Paxton rounded out the NC State lineup in a tie for 115th place at 15-over par.
NC State had a successful 2021 season, winning four tournaments, the most for the program in a single season since the 1982-83 season, and advancing to the NCAA Championship for the 19th-time in program history.
