Paxton and Shipp Both Fire Five-Under-Par 67s on Saturday

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Easton Paxton and Benjamin Shipp both shot rounds of five-under-par 67 on Saturday as the Pack shot the second-lowest team score of the day at the Seminole Intercollegiate held at Golden Eagle Country Club.

After shooting one-under par on Friday, Shipp went five-under on Saturday, including an eagle on 18 as he moved into fifth place on the individual leaderboard at six-under-par for the tournament.
Easton Paxton and Christian Salzer are next for the Pack at three-under-par and in a tie for 11th place. Paxton matched Shipp with a five-under-par 67 on Saturday while Salzer improved on his even-par performance on Friday by shooting three-under par 69 today.

Max Steinlechner is next for the Pack in a tie for 40th place. The sophomore shot even-par on Friday and had a round of three-over par today.

Spencer Oxendine rounds out the NC State lineup in a tie for 84th place after shooting an 11-over-par 83.
Playing as an individual, freshman Nick Mathews shot a two-over par 74, a seven-shot improvement on his Friday effort.
Host Florida State remains in first place with a two-shot lead over second-place Liberty. Oklahoma moved into third, four shots back of the Flames while Oklahoma State is one shot back of the Sooners and one shot ahead of the Pack for fourth place.
The third and final round starts Sunday morning.
