#22 Wolfpack to Welcome #11 Minnesota for Senior Day

RALEIGH - The No. 22 NC State gymnastics team concludes home competition Saturday, March 7 at 4 p.m. as it welcomes 11th-ranked Minnesota to Valvano Arena at Reynolds Coliseum for Senior Day.

LAST TIME OUT
NC State visited Penn State with Cornell and Towson on Feb. 29, posting a 195.850 and finishing second out of the four teams. The squad compiled its highest beam score of the season, a 49.250. Freshman Chloe Negrete recorded a career high-tying 9.925 on the event while junior Lauren Kent tabbed a career-high 9.875 and junior Kasey Nelson tied her career best of 9.850.
Senior Drew Grantham notched a 9.900 on floor at the meet, marking the fifth straight meet that she has achieved at least a 9.900 in the event.
SCOUTING MINNESOTA
The Gophers rank in the top 20 of the Road to Nationals rankings in all four events (Vault - 15th, Bars - 10th, Beam - 4th, Floor - 18th). The season-high score for Minnesota is a 197.400, which the team has achieved twice. In their most recent meet, a quad-meet at Missouri with Lindenwood and Ohio State, the Gophers compiled a 196.675 and came in second out of the four teams.
