The Pack Looks to Continue success after posting season-high
RALEIGH, N.C. – The 28th-ranked NC State gymnastics team will play host to 34th-ranked UNC-CH on Saturday, Feb. 16 at 4 p.m. inside Valvano Arena at Reynolds Coliseum. The Pack looks to carry momentum into its third home meet of the season after posting a season-best 196.400 Saturday, Feb. 9 against Pittsburgh.

Pack on the Rise
NC State has improved on its previous meet's score in each of the last four outings. Last Saturday's 196.400 was the highest of the season and ranks 15th all-time in school history.
The squad posted season-highs on all four events in its victory against Pittsburgh: vault - 49.000, bars - 49.150, beam - 49.025, floor - 49.225.
In the EAGL
NC State stands atop the East Atlantic Gymnastics League standings with a 195.042 average. Individually, the Pack holds seven total spots in the top five of each event.
Lauren Kent and Maggie Tamburro lead the league in bars average (9.783). Meredith Robinson's 9.762 is tied for fifth in the conference. On floor, Drew Grantham sits at fourth in the league (9.821) and also sits at third in all-around competition (38.742). Caitlyn Fillard's 38.854 all-around average is second in the conference and her 9.762 bars average is tied for fifth.
9.9 Club
Grantham and Kent tallied 9.9s with their performances against Pitt, giving the Pack a total of four 9.9 scores this season.
Tamburro was the first to accomplish the feat for NC State this season. She posted a 9.900 on bars in a quad-meet at Towson on Jan. 18.
Kent recorded a 9.900 on bars, her career-high and first 9.9 of her Wolfpack career.
Grantham recorded 9.900s on vault and floor, moving her 9.9 club tally to seven (two on vault, five on floor). Her last 9.900 vault was at the 2018 EAGL Championship. Grantham took home the vault title with that score.
Last Time Out
The team made a statement in its return home on Saturday, Feb. 9, posting its best score of the season in a 196.400-194.825 victory over No. 36 Pittsburgh. The Pack's performance earned a season-best in all four events. Individually, NC State achieved four career-best scores and 11 season-best scores.
Caitlyn Fillard took home the all-around title with a season-best 39.200.

The Tar Heels check in at No. 34 in the national standings. On individual events, UNC-CH stands as follows: No. 28 – vault, No. 46 – bars, No. 37 – beam, No. 21 – floor.
In the team's last meet hosting Towson, the Tar Heels swept the top five spots on floor.
NC State defeated UNC-CH earlier this season in Chapel Hill, N.C., 195.200-194.650. With a win, the Pack would be undefeated in regular season competition against the Tar Heels in the Kim Landrus era.
