RALEIGH, N.C.– The No. 25 NC State men's tennis team (13-5, 3-4 ACC) is set to play its final home matches of the regular season this weekend as it hosts Georgia Tech and Clemson at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center. The Wolfpack will face the Yellow Jackets (5-11, 1-5 ACC) Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. and hosts the Tigers (9-6, 3-4 ACC) Sunday afternoon at 12 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT:
The Wolfpack picked up back-to-back ACC wins last weekend, taking down then 25th-ranked Notre Dame and Boston College at home.
After cruising through the doubles point, the match against the Fighting Irish was decided on the final singles court, where Ivan Saveljic defeated Matt Gamble to give NC State a 4-3 win. The Wolfpack completed the weekend sweep with a 5-2 victory over the Eagles the next day.
WOLFPACK IN THE RANKINGS:
NC State's weekend victories moved the team up four spots in the Oracle/ITA Team Rankings, as the Wolfpack reentered the top 25 with a No. 25 ranking. The squad, which entered the team rankings for the first time this season on Feb. 20, has remained ranked in the top 30 for seven consecutive weeks.
After going unbeaten in doubles play over the weekend, Alexis Galarneau and Michael Ogden moved up to No. 49 in doubles. Igor Saveljic and Ivan join them in the doubles rankings at No. 67.

Carlos Divar, who is No. 64 nationally in singles, is Georgia Tech's only ranked singles player. He pairs up with Michael Kay to make up the nation's 14th-ranked doubles team. Divar and Kay are 10-4 as a pair in dual match play and have defeated three ranked opponents this season.
SCOUTING THE TIGERS:
