NC State hosts its final two home matches of the season next weekend
March 31, 2018
RALEIGH, N.C. - The No. 29 NC State men's tennis team picked up its second-straight ACC win, defeating Boston College 5-2 Saturday afternoon at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center. With the victory, the Wolfpack is now 13-5 on the season and 3-4 in ACC play, and Boston College falls to 7-9 overall and 0-7 in the ACC.
"I'm excited that we swept this weekend," said head coach Kyle Spencer. "In the ACC, every match is so tough. I was impressed with Boston College's level. They're obviously doing a lot of things right there, and it made the match competitive. As a group, we're starting to gel and understand what we need to do on a daily basis in practice and how to take that into the matches."
No. 63 Alexis Galarneau and Michael Ogden started the day off strong for the Wolfpack on court two of doubles as they cruised to a 6-2 victory over Boston College's Max Palmer and Chris Grasel.
