WASHINGTON, D.C. – The NC State gymnastics team recorded its best away score of the year with a 194.825 in a quad meet at George Washington with Yale and Stanford Sunday afternoon at the Smith Center.

The meet marked the end of the regular season. NC State has closed out the season with its best home score and its best away score in its last two meets.

Vault:
All five vault scorers earned scores of 9.750 and above, as NC State recorded a team score of 48.825 on vault. Paris Phillips led the way with a 9.800 to finish fifth overall. Drew Grantham added a 9.775, and Amanda Fillard, Chelsea Knight and Alexa Phillips all scored a 9.750 to round out the scoring.

Bars:
NC State opened the meet on bars with a 48.625 team score. Melissa Brooker took fourth overall and first on the team with a 9.825. Fillard added a 9.800 and Hannah Sobhan recorded a 9.725.

Beam:
The Pack posted a 48.550 team score on beam. Knight led the way in the rotation and took fifth in the overall competition with a score of 9.825. Grantham and Fillard finished tied for second on the team with scores of 9.725.

Floor:
NC State put together a solid floor routine with a team score of 48.825, as all five gymnasts scored a 9.700 or above. Alexis Beucler scored a 9.700 as the leadoff gymnast in the rotation. Paris Phillips added a 9.725 and Grantham scored a 9.775. Knight added a 9.800 and Alexa Phillips scored a team-high 9.825 to round out the scores.

Grantham took fifth overall and first on the team in the all-around competition with a score of 38.950. In jut her second time as an all-arounder, Alexa Phillips finished with a score of 38.825.
