NC State sits in 12th heading into final round

HANAHAN, S.C.- The NC State women's golf team completed its second day of play at the Cougar Classic on Monday, hosted by the College of Charleston at Yeaman's Hall Club.
The Wolfpack carded a team total of 299 ( 11), and sits in 12th place of 21 teams heading into the third and final round of play.
Sophomore Leonie Bettel posted the low round for the team as she shot an even par 72, while India Clyburn finished the day with a 74 ( 2) to remain among the top 25 of the individual standings.
Senior Sarah Bae turned in a four-over par 76 while sophomores Laura Kowohl and Naomi Ko each registered scores of 77 ( 5) to round out the Pack's day two showing.
NC State will be paired with Arkansas, Louisville and Maryland Tuesday for the final day of play, as there will be a 9 a.m. shotgun start.
