RALEIGH – Following a very strong showing in California at the Alister MacKenzie Invitational, the NC State men's golf team concludes the fall portion of its 2016-17 schedule at the Bridgestone Golf Collegiate in nearby Greensboro, N.C., Oct. 30-31. Hosted by UNCG, the tournament will be played on the West Course of the Grandover Resort & Conference Center.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT
The event will begin Sunday morning with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. Teams will play a total of 36 holes Sunday and 18 on Monday. The final round tee times on Monday will also feature an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.

THE NC STATE LINEUP
Benjamin Shipp – Two top-10 finishes in his first three collegiate tournaments.
Jacob McBride – Current team stroke average leader at 69.0 per round.
Stephen Franken – Career average of 71.90 strokes per 18 holes in 40 collegiate rounds.
Davis Richards – Two top-20 finishes this season.
Justin Hood – Seven of his nine rounds this season have counted towards the team score.
*Chad Cox – Competing in his 19th collegiate tournament.

**Late lineup adjustment due to injury. Chad Cox to replace Benjamin Shipp and Christian Salzer moves up to individual spot.**

THE SEASON SO FAR
Through three tournaments, NC State has posted a solid record of 28-14-1 this fall and has seen its golfers record seven individual top-20 results. Jacob McBride, Benjamin Shipp, and Davis Richards have each earned two top-20 results and Shipp, a freshman, leads the squad with two top-10 finishes.
