
Women's Tennis Finishes Jack Kramer Invitational With Four Wins

ROLLING HILLS, Calif.- The NC State women’s tennis team capped off its showing at the Jack Kramer Club Invitational Sunday with four wins in five total matches played.
The duos of Sophie Nelson and Liza Fieldsend, and Natalia Janowicz and Joanna Nalborska each defeated California State-Fullerton teams in doubles play, 8-4, while Fieldsend and Nelson both won their singles matches in straight sets. Fieldsend defeated California State-Fullerton’s Megan Sandford, 6-1, 6-1, and Nelson defeated LSU’s Ella Taylor, 6-2, 6-0.

Sophie Nelson/Liza Fieldsend (NCST) def. Camille De Leon/Megan Sandford (CSF), 8-4
Natalia Janowicz/Joanna Nalborska (NCST) def. Danielle Pham/Alexis Valenzuela (CSF), 8-4

Liza Fieldsend (NCST) def. Camille De Leon (CSF), 6-1,6-1
Sophie Nelson (NCST) def. Megan Sandford (CSF), 6-2,6-0
Ella Taylor (LSU) def. Natalia Janowicz (NCST), 6-1,4-6,(10-8)
