
Nalborska Falls in Singles Quarterfinals at Jack Kramer Invitational

ROLLING HILLS, Calif.- Despite winning her match in the singles Round of 16, NC State’s Joanna Nalborska fell to UCLA’s Kaitlin Ray in the quarterfinals round of the singles main draw at the Jack Kramer Club Invitational Friday afternoon.
Sophomore Natalia Janowicz won her Friday morning match as well, defeating Loyola Marymount’s Laura Meuller, 7-6 (3), 6-2 in the consolation singles Round of 64. Due to rain though, the Round of 32 consolation singles matches along with the first two rounds of doubles play in the consolation draw has been postponed until Saturday.

Up Next
-Play will continue Saturday, Nov. 1 at the Jack Kramer Club Invitational. Janowicz and Nelson will continue play in the singles consolation draw, as well as the doubles consolation draw with Nalborska and Liza Fieldsend.
