
Three Pack Golfers in Top 20 at ACC Championship

After second round action at the ACC Championship, the NC State women’s golf team currently has three golfers in the top 20. As a team, the Pack sits in seventh place after improving eight strokes from yesterday’s first round.
Sophomore Amanda Baker continues to lead the Pack, as she sits in 12th place at 8-over 150. A pair of freshmen are close behind, as Ana Menendez is in 16th at 9-over 151 and classmate Brittany Marchand is at 10-over 152.
The Pack is at 46-over 614 through two rounds.
Senior Brooke Baker is at 19-over 161, while redshirt freshman Carolina Ellington is at 20-over 162.
North Carolina remains in command for the team title, as the Tar Heels hold a 24 shot lead at 7-over (575). Ali White of North Carolina and Cheyenne Woods of Wake Forest are the only two golfers under par, as they sit atop the individual standings at 2-under (140).
Final round action will take place tomorrow.
