Women's Golf in Second at Sir Pizza Cards Challenge

WESTON, FLA. - After first round action at the Sir Pizza Cards Challenge, the NC State women's golf team sits in a second place tie shooting a 17-over (305) on Sunday at the Weston Hills Golf Course. The Pack is tied with FIU, and only two shots back of Miami for the team lead.
Freshman Brittany Marchand carded the Pack's top score of the day, as she sits in 12th place after her opening round of 3-over (75).
After the first 18 holes, there is a four-way tie for first at 2-under (70).
Fellow freshman Maureen Dunnagan and senior Brooke Baker sit in 16th place at 4-over (76), while sophomore Amanda Baker and freshman Ana Menendez are at 6-over (78).
Second round action will take place on Monday, with the final round on Tuesday.
