During today’s round, Doughtie traded two birdies and two bogeys over her first nine holes, but four bogeys in a five-hole stretch set her back from contending for medalist honors after beginning the day tied for fifth among 102 golfers.

Senior Stephanie Derrey shot a six-over 78 during the final round to finish tied for 31st at +7 (74-71-78=223), which was only one-shot off her career best mark for a 54-hole tournament.

Notre Dame won the event at +3 (870), one shot over Tennessee, while Texas, Alabama and LSU rounded out the top-five.
Notre Dame’s Lisa Maunu earned medalist honors with a 6 (210).
