Sarah Freitas joined the NC State women's basketball team staff as the assistant director of creative media services ahead of the 2025-26 season. She is now approaching year two in her role with the Wolfpack, where she produces photo and video content, and graphic design for the team's social media accounts, recruiting materials and other promotional assets.
Prior to her time in Raleigh, Freitas served as a new and creative media intern for the South Carolina women's basketball team. Working with a top five program as a student, Freitas served as one of the team's main photographers and traveled with the team throughout the season, including in the Gamecocks' run to the NCAA championship game.
Freitas also worked as a creative services intern for USA Baseball during the summer of 2024 and a photo and video intern for the Newport Gulls in the summer of 2023.
Freitas graduated from South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism in the spring of 2025.
