2011
- Redshirted the indoor track season.
- Ran a season-best time of 3:55.80 in the 1,500m run at the Raleigh Relays.
- Placed 22nd in the 5,000m run at the ACC Outdoor Championships.
2010
- Competed in the mile and the 3,000m during the indoor season.
- Finished sixth at the ACC Indoor Championships.
- Competed in the 1,500m and 5,000m during the outdoor season.
- Placed 11th at the ACC Championships in the 1,500m run.
2009
- Won his first ACC Championship with a win in the indoor 3,000m.
- Was All-ACC in the event with the win.
- Was fifth at the championships in the 5,000m.
- Set personal-best marks in the 3,000m and 5,000m indoors.
- Was 10th in the 10,000m at the ACC Outdoor Championships.
- Competed at the NCAA Regionals in the 5,000m and had three qualifying marks overall during the outdoor season.

- Holds his high school's record in the 3,200 meter with a time of 9:07.
- Has a personal best in the mile of 4:16.
- Was a 2006 Footlocker Midwest finalist.
- Nominated for the Sterling Sentine Athletic award.
- Given the Sertoma Award for athletics, academics, and citizenship.
- Was also a national junior Olympic cross country champion in 2004.
