- Placed fourth at the ACC Indoor Championships in the 3,000m run with a season-best time of 8:06.87.
- Ran the lead-off leg of the DMR that won an ACC Championship.
- Was All-ACC in the event with the win.
- Won the 3,000m at the Valentine Invitational in Boston.
- Earned All-ACC honors in the 10,000m at the ACC Outdoor Championships with a runner-up finish behind teammate Ryan Hill in a time of 29:41.63.
- Was fourth in the 5,000m at the ACC Championships.
- Placed 15th in the 10,000m at the NCAA East prelims.
At Kentucky
- Ran the 10th fastest time in school history in the 3,000m run as a sophomore with a mark of 8:16.27.
- Ran a personal best of 4:08.08 for the indoor mile, qualifying for the finals of the SEC Championship.
- Posted a best time of 3:54.23 in the 1,500m.
