O'Kelly joined the North Carolina State Sports Medicine staff in August 2022. She is the primary athletic trainer for the Softball team.

Prior to joining the Wolfpack, O'Kelly was an athletic trainer at Meredith College working with Volleyball, Basketball, and Softball.

O'Kelly graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from East Carolina University and went on to Charleston Southern University to complete an internship working with the football and softball programs. O'Kelly continued her professional endeavors at Clemson University where she worked as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer with Rowing and Football while pursuing a MS in Athletic Leadership.

O'Kelly is a native of North Carolina and resides in Raleigh, NC with her husband Tom O’Kelly.

She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, Mid-Atlantic Athletic Trainers’ Association, and the North Carolina Athletic Trainers’ Association.
