RALEIGH – NC State women's basketball head coach Wes Moore has announced the non-conference schedule for the 2026-27 season. The Pack will play four teams that made the NCAA Tournament last season, including two Sweet 16 squads.
NC State is set to play 13 non-conference games, including eight at Reynolds Coliseum, where the Pack has posted a 145-19 record over the past 10 seasons. The Wolfpack will have two true road games and three neutral site contests.
In addition to the four NCAA Tournament teams (Kentucky, LSU, Ole Miss and Jacksonville) three other opponents on the Pack's non-conference schedule made the NCAA WBIT (Seton Hall, Kansas State and Navy).
The average NET ranking of NC State's non-conference opponents this season (based on the opponent's 2025-26 final NET ranking) is 103.2. Last season, NC State had the third-best average NET non-conference opponent ranking among all Power Four schools.
The Wolfpack will open the 2026-27 season at Reynolds Coliseum against Wofford on Monday, Nov. 2 and will then turn around to play Campbell on Wednesday, Nov. 4.
NC State will then play at the Ally Tipoff for the third consecutive year, and is set to face Kentucky on Sunday, Nov. 8 at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. Kentucky is coming off an NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 appearance and the Wolfpack has a 5-2 advantage over the Wildcats in the all-time series.
The Wolfpack will then return home to host Liberty on Wednesday, Nov. 11 and travel to South Orange, New Jersey to face Seton Hall on Sunday, Nov. 15. The Pirates played at NC State last season, as the Wolfpack won, 61-53.
NC State will host Georgetown (Thursday, Nov. 19) and Coastal Carolina (Sunday, Nov. 22) at Reynolds before heading to Florida for Thanksgiving.
The Wolfpack is set to play at the Elevance Health Fort Myers Tipoff against Kansas State (Friday, Nov. 27 at 7 p.m.) and LSU (Saturday, Nov. 28 at 4:30 p.m.). LSU is coming off a Sweet 16 appearance last season. The Pack will face the Wildcats for the first time since 2022 and the Tigers for the third time in the last three years.
The Pack drew Ole Miss for the SEC/ACC Challenge, and will play in Oxford, Mississippi on Wednesday, Dec. 2. The last time NC State played Ole Miss was in the 2024 SEC/ACC Challenge, in which the Wolfpack won, 68-61. The Rebels are coming off a second-round appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
To close out the non-conference schedule, NC State will host Davidson (Sunday, Dec. 6), 2026 ASUN Champion Jacksonville (Wednesday, Dec. 9) and 2026 Patriot League Regular-Season Champion Navy (Sunday, Dec. 20).
NC State will also play two exhibitions, both at Reynolds Coliseum. The Wolfpack will host High Point, 2026 Big South champion, on Thursday, Oct. 8, and UNCW on Saturday, Oct. 24.
