Coleman, Farness, Michalak & Napoleon Earn XC/TF Academic All-District Team Honors

RALEIGH, N.C. - NC State track & field and cross country had four student-athletes earn a spot on the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, as announced by the CSC on Tuesday.
Sophomores James Coleman, Ryan Farness and Bethany Michalak and junior Angelina Napoleon each earned the honor for the first time in their careers.
To be eligible for the nomination, athletes must have a top 50 regional ranking in a single event (indoor or outdoor) at the time of nomination, along with a minimum GPA of 3.50. Selected by CSC, the Academic All-District Team recognizes student-athletes for their continued success both on the track and in the classroom.
Bethany Michalak and Angelina Napoleon were both selected as CSC Academic All-America finalists and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced July 15.
