Emily Wisniewski Qualifies for World Athletics U20 Championships

EUGENE, OR - Current NC State track & field athlete Emily Wisniewski represented the Wolfpack in the 5000 meters at the USATF U20 Outdoor Championships on June 18.

Wisniewski delivered a standout performance, placing runner-up in a personal-best time of 15:45.39, shaving more than 11 seconds off her previous best.

With her second-place finish, Wisniewski secured a spot on Team USA for the 2026 World Athletics U20 Championships, set to take place Aug. 5-9 in Eugene, Oregon.
