Three Wolfpack Athletes Set to Compete at USATF U20 Outdoor Championships

RALEIGH, N.C. - Three Wolfpack track & field athletes are set to compete in the USATF U20 Outdoor Championships, June 18-19 at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.
Emily Wisniewski will compete in the 5000m on Thursday at 10Â a.m. PT / 1Â p.m. ET. During the outdoor season, Wisniewski finished second in the 5000m (invite 2) at the Wake Forest Invitational and 17th in the 5000m at the ACC Championships.
Rance Springs will take on the 400m hurdles. The first round is set for Thursday at 1:26 p.m. PT / 4:26 p.m.ET. Finals will be held on Friday at 4:44 p.m. PT / 7:44 p.m. ET. During the season, Springs competed in the 400m hurdles at six meets, including the ACC Championships. He achieved a personal-best time of 52.05 in the event at the Aggie Classic.
Jack Anstrom will run in the 1500m on Friday at 3:55Â p.m. PT / 6:55Â p.m. ET. Anstrom ran in the 1500m during seven meets throughout the 2026 season. He ran a personal-best 1500m time of 3:43.39 to finish fourth at the Mount Olive First Chance Qualifier, which ranks No. 10 all-time in NC State History.
These three athletes look to earn spots to represent the United States of America at the 2026 World Athletics U20 Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Oregon, August 5-9.
