POSTGAME QUOTES
Head Coach Wes Moore's Opening Statement:
"I was proud of the way the team came out after a tough loss the other night. I thought we came out with a lot of energy. Defensively we were flying around and we were pretty disciplined. We did what we needed to do. Again, offensively hit shots. It was nice that everyone was able to contribute some. We were able to come out after a tough loss and bounce back with a lot of resilience. I appreciate the fans for coming back, too. I appreciate them being here. We have high expectations, our fans do, our team does, and our coaches do. We're going to continue to fight and battle and get to the point where we can clean some things up. I was disappointed in the first half, we had nine assists and four turnovers. In the second half, we had four assists and eight turnovers. When you have a lead, you want to be smart with the ball, value the ball. We also gave up 19 offensive rebounds. Their post players, in particular, really hurt us, part of that was having to help on the drive, and our weak side wasn't getting over and boxing over that post that was left. We still have a lot of things to approve on, but like I said, I loved our energy and effort, and all those things."
