CHARLOTTE, N.C. - NC State women's tennis earned a pair of Atlantic Coast Conference weekly honors, the league announced Tuesday afternoon. Gabriella Broadfoot was named ACC Player of the Week, while Broadfoot and partner Victoria Osuigwe collected ACC Doubles Team of the Week recognition.
The honors mark the Wolfpack's third and fourth weekly awards of the season. The duo previously earned Doubles Team of the Week earlier this year, and Osuigwe was also tabbed ACC Freshman of the Week this spring.
Broadfoot's Player of the Week honor is the first of her career. She now owns six ACC Doubles Team of the Week awards, while Osuigwe has earned two in her young career.
Broadfoot is coming off her highest-ranked win of the season in No. 8 NC State's 7-0 sweep of No. 17 Michigan on Sunday, Feb. 15. The junior defeated No. 9 Piper Charney in three sets, 7-5, 5-7, 6-4, earning a top-10 victory on court two. During the 2025-26 season, Broadfoot has tallied 16 singles wins and has competed exclusively on courts one and two in dual play.
In doubles action, the second-ranked pair of Broadfoot and Osuigwe have occupied the No. 1 position in every dual match this spring. The reigning NCAA Doubles National Champions are coming off a two-win weekend against No. 2 Ohio State and No. 17 Michigan, securing their 15th and 16th victories of the year.
Against the Buckeyes, the duo defeated Hephzibah Oluwadare and Sophia Cisselgnatiev, 6-4, to clinch the doubles point. They followed with a 6-2 victory over Lily Jones and Reese Miller of Michigan, again sealing the doubles point for the Pack.
NC State will enjoy a bye week before heading west to open ACC play at Cal and Stanford on Feb. 27-28.
