RALEIGH – Eighth-ranked NC State men's soccer prepares to host Florida International Friday night at 6 p.m. at the Dail Soccer Stadium.

Series History
• Friday's meeting marks the third contest between NC State and Florida International. The two have only ever met in the '80s.
• The Wolfpack claimed two wins over the Panthers, first by a 2-1 score in 1981 in Raleigh and then by a 3-0 victory in 1984 at a neutral location.

• The Wolfpack started the season ranked at No. 14 in the preseason United Soccer Coaches poll, where it finished last season. After just week one of the regular season, the squad landed at eighth in the country, the last time the program was ranked that high was in September of 2018.
