
NC State Women’s Golf Announces 2025-26 Schedule

RALEIGH – The NC State women's golf team has unveiled the 2025-26 schedule, as announced by head coach Darby Sligh on Wednesday.
The Pack will play in nine regular season tournaments, four in the fall and five in the spring. NC State will host one tournament, the City of Oaks Collegiate for the second straight year at Lonnie Poole Golf Course from March 22-24. The Pack is looking to qualify for its 21st NCAA Regional and fifth NCAA Championship as a team in Darby Sligh's third season at the helm, eighth overall.
NC State will open the season at the Cougar Classic, its fifth appearance in the last six seasons, from Monday Sept. 8 to Tuesday, Sept. 9. The tournament is held at Yeamans Hall Club in Hanahan, South Carolina and hosted by the College of Charleston. The Pack will then follow up with the Women's Inverness Intercollegiate from Monday, Sept. 15 to Tuesday, Sept. 16. The Inverness Club is home of the 2021 Solheim Cup and 2027 U.S. Women's Open.
In October, the Pack will play at the Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational hosted by North Carolina at Finley Golf Club from Friday, Oct. 17 to Sunday, Oct. 19. The Pack will then follow up with the Landfall Tradition, hosted by UNC, at Landfall Country Club in Wilmington, North Carolina, from Friday, Oct. 24 to Sunday, Oct. 26. Both tournaments are also staples on an NC State women's golf schedule.
NC State will open the spring season at the Collegiate Invitational in Guadalajara, Mexico for the second straight season. The tournament, played from Friday, Jan. 30 to Saturday, Jan. 31, is held at Guadalajara Country Club.
The Pack will make its first appearance at the Moon Golf Invitational hosted by Louisville from Sunday, Feb. 15 to Tuesday, Feb. 17 at Suntree Golf Club. NC State will then look to defend its title at the Daniel Island Invitational from Monday, March 2 to Tuesday, March 3 before playing at the Briar's Creek Invitational in John's Island, South Carolina from Monday, March 16 to Tuesday, March 17. Both tournaments are hosted by the College of Charleston.
NC State is set to host the City of Oaks Collegiate for the second straight year. The tournament will run from Sunday, March 22 to Tuesday, March 24 at Lonnie Poole Golf Course.
The ACC Championship is set for Thursday, April 16 to Monday, April 19 at the Porters Neck Country Club in Wilmington. NCAA Regionals are slated for Monday, May 11 to Wednesday, May 13. The locations include Ann Arbor, Michigan (U-M Golf Course), Chapel Hill, North Carolina (UNC Finley Golf Course), Huntsville, Alabama (Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Hampton Cove), Stanford, California (Stanford Golf Course), Tallahassee, Florida (Seminole Legacy Golf Club) and Waco, Texas (Ridgewood Country Club).
The NCAA Championship will be held at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California from Friday, May 22 to Wednesday, May 27. Marie Eline Madsen played at the NCAA Championship as an individual to cap off an All-American season in 2025.
NC State brings back four returners and welcomes three freshmen to the 2025-26 squad.
