Borisiouk, Shick, Staeheli, and Van Sambeek Honored in 2025 All-ACC Awards

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Four members of the NC State men's tennis team were honored in the 2025 All-ACC yearly awards, as announced by the ACC Thursday afternoon.
Martin Borisiouk, Braden Shick, and Luca Staeheli were each named to All-ACC singles teams while Shick and Van Sambeek were named to a doubles team.
Senior Shick earns his second career All-ACC honors after being named to the second team this season and third team last season. He currently sits at a combined 20-14 record across the fall and spring, going 12-10 against ranked opponents while playing at the No. 2 spot in singles. He was named ACC Player of the Week on February 11 after defeating Princeton's No. 20 Paul Inchauspe in straight sets. He reached a season-high ranking of in singles on ITA.
As a senior, Staeheli marks his third time being on the All-ACC lists, he has earned third team honors in 2022, 2023, and 2025. Heading into his final NCAA Tournament, he sits at a 21-6 overall record for the season, posting a 17-2 mark in dual action with a 14-1 record at No. 3 singles. He earned ACC Player of the Week two times this semester on January 28 and March 4 and climbed to a season-high ranking of No. 55.
Junior, Borisiouk, earns his first All-ACC honors from going 5-5 against ranked opponents, typically holding the No. 2 spot for the Pack in singles. Across the fall and spring, he currently holds a 16-8 record with a 10-6 mark in dual action. He earned ACC Player of the Week once this season on March 11 and climbed to a high of No. 23 in singles according to ITA.
The top pair for the Pack, Shick and Van Sambeek were named to the All-ACC first team after reaching a season-high ranking of No. 6 just before the ACC Tournament. The two went 15-6 in dual action and 6-4 against ranked opponents, all at the No. 1 doubles spot. Most notably, they defeated third-ranked Alex Boulte and Youcef Rihane of Florida State March 14.
