Martin Borisiouk Qualifies for NCAA Individual Championships

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – By reaching the semifinals of the ITA Conference Masters Championship in San Diego over the weekend, Martin Borisiouk qualified for his second trip to the NCAA Singles Championships later this month.
In the final opportunity to qualify for this year's NCAA Individual Championships, five members of the Pack competed across two tournaments over the weekend to compete for a spot.
Martin Borisiouk and Noah Gabriel paired up for doubles at the ITA Conference Masters in San Diego with Borisiouk also in singles play. Charlie Camus, Jules Leroux, and William Manning each competed in singles at the ITA Sectionals in Chapel Hill, with Camus and Manning pairing up for doubles as well.
In the opening round of the ITA Sectionals tournament, William Manning defeated the No. 1 seed, 20th-ranked Nicolas Kotzen (Columbia) 6-3, 6-7 (2-7), 7-6 (7-5).
Borisiouk earned his spot in the championships by reaching the semifinals of the Conference Masters on Friday. This marks the second year in a row for Borisiouk to earn his way into this tournament.
