#6 Pack Secures Road Win Over Georgia Tech

ATLANTA, Ga. – In its final regular season weekend on the road, sixth-ranked NC State men's tennis (17-4, 9-0) started the weekend on the right foot with a 4-1 win over No. 46 Georgia Tech (12-7, 5-4) on Friday night.
With ranked match-ups featured on courts one and two, the reliable doubles pairs for the Wolfpack this season got it done to put the team in the lead in the first part of the match.
Ninth-ranked Braden Shick and Fons Van Sambeek defeated 20th-ranked Nate Bonetto and Gianluca Carlini of Georgia Tech, while 23rd-ranked Jules Leroux and Luca Staeheli also defeated 59th-ranked Krish Arora and Christophe Clement.
The first singles finish was on court two when Martin Borisiouk fell in two sets to even out the scoreboard 1-1. The remaining singles victories were taken in two sets by William Manning, Braden Shick, and Fons Van Sambeek.
