
NC State Set to Host Raleigh Relays

RALEIGH, N.C. – One week after kicking off its outdoor season, NC State is set to return to action March 27 as it hosts the annual Raleigh Relays track meet March 27-29. The meet will be streamed live on ACCNX.

Tony Taylor II opened his outdoor season with a throw of 55.20 meters in the hammer, finishing in third place. His mark ties for ninth all-time in program history.
Luke Thierfelder won the javelin with a throw of 62.49 meters in his debut as a Wolfpack athlete. He now ranks third on the program's all-time list.
Jordyn Parker competed in the 200 meters, posting a 24.26 to tie for ninth on the program's all-time top-10 list. She then ran the 100 meters, where she recorded an 11.84, again tying for ninth.
Katie Horne crushed her personal best in the javelin with a throw of 46.54 meters, defending her title as the program's all-time best in the event at the Charlotte 49er Classic.
Jakerra Covington placed third in the javelin at the Charlotte 49er Classic with a 40.09-meter throw. She later competed in the 100-meter hurdles, achieving a personal best of 14.71.
