
No. 20 NC State Picks Up Win Over Pitt in Pink Meet

RALEIGH, N.C. – The No. 20 NC State gymnastics team claimed its second ACC win of the season with a 196.475-193.600 victory over Pitt Saturday at Reynolds Coliseum during the annual Pink Meet.
The evening featured NC State's second-highest score of the season, including a season-high performance on floor. Meg Adler led off on vault, tying her season-best score of 9.800 to place second. Caroline Volk dazzled on bars, setting a career-high 9.900 to finish first. Maddie Hall kept the momentum going on beam, matching her season-best score of 9.850. Krista Zultevicz and Ava Myers delivered standout performances, with Zultevicz posting a season-high 9.850 and Myers earning a career-high 9.875 to finish second and secure her second podium finish of the season. Ashley Knight earned two first-place finishes after an impressive week in which she posted a career-high 9.925 on floor against Cal. Knight scored 9.900 on floor and vault to claim victory.
VAULT (48.925)
The Pack started the evening on vault, with Meg Adler setting the tone in the leadoff position. Adler's 9.800 matched her season best and led her to a second place finish. Ashley Knight followed with a stellar dismount, earning a 9.900 to win the meet's vault event.
BARS (49.175)
In the second rotation, NC State matched its season-high team score on bars. Kailee Adomaites kicked off the event with a solid 9.800. Elle Hadrick and Katie Harper followed with impressive performances—Hadrick posting 9.825 and Harper earning 9.875 for a second-place finish. The highlight came from freshman Caroline Volk, who stuck her routine to set a career-high 9.900, claiming first in the event.
BEAM (49.050)
On beam, Maddie Hall matched her season-best 9.850 to claim the victory in the event, while Peyton Childs posted a career-high 9.800. Chloe Negrete anchored the event with a 9.825 to help the team stay on track and earned a third-place finish.
FLOOR (49.325)
NC State closed out the meet on floor, where it tied its season-high score. The entire squad scored 9.800 or higher for the first time this season. Ashley Knight led the team with a 9.900 and earned her second first place finish of the meet. Ava Myers impressed with a career-high 9.875, tying for second with teammate Chloe Negrete.
