
Wolfpack Prepares for Two Road Meets

RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State track and field team will compete in two meets this weekend: the Doc Hale Invitational in Blacksburg, Va., and the Camel City Invitational in Winston-Salem, N.C.

The NC State track and field team last competed at the Bob Pollock Invitational on Jan. 31–Feb. 1.
Patrick Tuohy made an impressive debut for the Wolfpack, winning the 800 meters with a personal-best time of 1:49.17—the second-fastest indoor 800m time in program history.
Elliot McArthur earned his first podium finish of the season, placing third in the mile with a personal-best 4:04.63. He also finished third in the 800m, clocking 1:50.62.
Jailen Hobbs and Kyron Parker each set season bests in the 200m. Hobbs placed 20th with a time of 21.60, while Parker finished 23rd at 21.71.
Jordyn Parker and Shaune Ingraham both entered the program's all-time top 10 in the 400m. Parker's time of 56.56 ranks sixth, while Ingraham's 56.81 places her 10th.
Elijah Dawes finished fourth in the men's 400m with a time of 47.54, moving into fourth place on the program's all-time list.
Tyson Adams secured a second-place finish in the long jump with a personal-best leap of 7.53m (24-8½).
Charles McBride continued his dominance in the high jump, clearing 2.19m (7-2¼) to win his third consecutive title in the event.
Sydney Freeman placed fourth in the weight throw with a personal-best mark of 19.30m, moving from ninth to sixth on the program's all-time list.
