
NC State Baseball Announces 2026 Schedule

RALEIGH, N.C. – Coming off a 35-win season and the 22nd NCAA regional appearance under head coach Elliott Avent, Avent announced NC State Baseball's 2026 schedule Friday afternoon. The 55-game schedule includes 35 contests at Doak Field at Dail Park, including 18 consecutive home games across February and March.
Season tickets for the 2026 season are still on sale and can be purchased HERE. Single-game tickets will be available in January.
The season gets underway Feb. 13-15th from Ponce, Puerto Rico, as the Wolfpack will spend the opening weekend playing in the Puerto Rico Baseball Challenge. Opening day sees NC State take on Washington, followed by Indiana State on day two, and Seton Hall in Caguas, Puerto Rico, to close things out before coming back to Raleigh.
The 2026 home opener will be on Wednesday, Feb. 18th, against Winthrop to kick off the long home stretch. The first home weekend series will see NC State welcome Princeton to the Doak Feb. 20-22nd. The Wolfpack will have back-to-back midweeks against Richmond (Feb. 24th) and Akron (Feb.25th) before hosting Sacred Heart Feb. 27-Mar. 1st.
For the first time since 2020, Coastal Carolina will make the trip to Raleigh for a midweek game on Tuesday, Mar. 3rd. Wolfpack fans won't have to wait long to see the team back in action, with NC State hosting Queens on Mar. 4th.
The homestand continues on Mar. 6th with a weekend series against Lafayette and a midweek against Elon on Mar. 10th. The Wolfpack will open ACC play at home against Boston College on Friday, March 13-15th.
The first true road game of the season, the Wolfpack won't have to go far as they make a trip down to Wilmington, N.C., and take on UNCW on Tuesday, Mar. 17th. The first ACC road trip is to Tallahassee to play Florida State, Mar. 20-22nd.
NC State will make a quick stop back at the Doak for a midweek against Campbell (Mar. 24th) before hitting the road again to take on Georgia Tech from Atlanta, Mar. 27-29th. The Wolfpack closes out March with another home midweek contest against Liberty (Mar. 31st), which marks the start of an eight-game homestand.
The month of April begins with a three-game ACC series against Notre Dame (Apr. 2-4), followed by a rematch with UNCW at the Doak, Apr. 7th. The home stand concludes with Duke coming to town for a three-game series beginning on Apr. 10th.
A seven-game road trip will begin on Apr. 14th in Greenville, N.C., against ECU, before six straight ACC road games, beginning Apr. 17th against Wake Forest and finishing up in Blacksburg, Va., against Virginia Tech (April 24- 26).
East Carolina comes to Doak Field on April. 28th to close out the month. May begins with the Wolfpack and Miami playing one another in Raleigh, May 1-3rd, and is followed by the last midweek of the season against North Carolina A&T on Tuesday, May 5th.
The final road trip of the season takes the Wolfpack out west for a three-game ACC series at Stanford, beginning on Friday, May 8th. This will be the first regular-season matchup between the programs and first since 2021, when the programs met in the College World Series and NC State defeated Stanford 10-4.
NC State will play nine in-state opponents in the upcoming season and will wrap up the 2026 regular season against UNC with a three-game series, beginning on Thursday, May 14th
The ACC Tournament heads back to Charlotte on May 19th, with the Championship game on May 24th at Truist Field. The Tournament is a 16-team bracket (Single elimination; Seeds 5-8 receive a first-round bye; Seeds 1-4 receive a double bye).
