
Women's Tennis Begins Dual Play at Home Against Campbell and Pepperdine

RALEIGH, N.C. – The No. 14 Wolfpack women's tennis team will host its first weekend of home matches of the season as they face Campbell on Friday, January 17, at 6 p.m., followed by a showdown with No. 10 Pepperdine on Sunday, January 19, at noon. Both matches will be held at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center.
Competition this weekend will be held indoors, and admission to both matches is free. Fans can follow live match results on StatBroadcast, and the matches will be available for streaming on Track Tennis.
NC State returns to Raleigh after kicking off its 2025 season at the Miami Invitational, held from January 10-12 in Coral Gables, FL. The Wolfpack's No. 5-ranked doubles team of Gabriella Broadfoot and Maddy Zampardo will look to carry their momentum after remaining 9-0 against ranked opponents from the fall. The doubles duo was named this weeks ACC doubles team of the week after their performance over the weekend.
In the latest ITA rankings, the Wolfpack women's tennis team also features Jasmine Conway and Kristina Paskauskas, who are ranked No. 50 in doubles. Additionally, Gabia Paskauskas has earned a ranking of No. 55 in singles, further strengthening the team's depth and talent heading into the season.
Scouting Campbell:
This will be the Camels' second dual match of the season, following a tough 0-7 loss to No. 6 North Carolina on January 12 in Chapel Hill. The last time these two programs faced off was during the Wolfpack's 2023-24 season at home in Raleigh, where NC State secured a dominant 7-0 victory. The Wolfpack currently lead the all-time series 4-0, with each meeting resulting in a sweep.
Scouting Pepperdine:
No. 10 ranked Pepperdine is set to open its season in Durham, N.C. as they face off against No. 11 Duke Friday, Jan. 17. The waves will then travel to Raleigh for a Sunday showdown against the Wolfpack. This will be the third competition between the two programs with Pepperdine leading the series by 2-0. Pepperdine begins it's 2025 season with several highly ranked players in their rotation. In singles, Savannah Broadus leads the team at No. 13, followed by Vivian Yang at No. 61, Liam Oved at No. 90, Duru Soke at No. 91, and Alexia Harmon at No. 112. In doubles, Broadus and Yang form a formidable pair, ranked No. 14, while Oved and Harmon are ranked No. 101. These rankings highlight Pepperdine's depth and talent across both singles and doubles, positioning the team as a competitive matchup Sunday.
Looking ahead, the Wolfpack is preparing for an exciting month on the road as they continue their regular season campaign. First up, they will travel to Knoxville, Tennessee, to compete in the ITA Kickoff Weekend, where they will face No. 15 Ohio State. The event, hosted by the University of Tennessee, will take place from January 24-26.
