
Wolfpack Kicks Off 2025 Indoor season

RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State track and field teams are set to open the 2025 indoor season with two meets this weekend: the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener in Boston, Mass., and the Winston-Salem College Kickoff in Winston-Salem, N.C., both taking place on Saturday, Dec. 7.

At the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener, four women and two men will represent the Wolfpack in the distance events.
Angelina Napoleon will compete in the 3000m, while Grace Hartman, Hannah Gapes, and Brooke Rauber are set to race in the 5000m.
On the men's side, Ryan Motondo will take on the 3000m, and Brett Gardner will compete in the 5000m.
At the Winston-Salem College Kickoff, NC State athletes will focus on throws, multis, and sprints.
Freshman Olivia Vaughan will make her collegiate debut, competing in the 60m hurdles, 200m, and long jump alongside senior Jakerra Covington. Covington will also compete in the women's shot put with Ta'Honny Exum.
In the weight throw, Makala Wright, Sydney Freeman, and Natalie Griffith will represent the Pack.
On the men's side, Tony Taylor will compete in both the shot put and weight throw.
After a successful 2024 campaign, the Wolfpack is ready to kick off the 2025 season with strong performances at both events.
