MATCH NOTES | ECU NOTES

RALEIGH – NC State volleyball is set to play its first home games this weekend as the Wolfpack welcomes Wofford, East Carolina and Colorado State to Reynolds Coliseum.

The Pack's first game of the weekend is set for Friday at 7 p.m. against Wofford. The Wolfpack will wrap up its home opening weekend with matches against East Carolina (noon) and Colorado State (7 p.m.) on Saturday.

NC State volleyball was unable to slow down a hot-hitting Tennessee as the Wolfpack fell, 3-0 (12-25, 23-25, 16-25) in the Tennessee Classic finale on Saturday evening
Graduate student Melissa Evans led the offensive charge with 10 kills while senior Jade Parchment followed behind with nine kills on a .238 hitting percentage and five digs.
Junior Hannah Wander led the defense with nine digs while junior Kristen McDaniel nearly pulled off her third consecutive double-double with 29 assists and nine digs

JADA ALLEN EARNS ALL-TOURNAMENT AT TENNESSEE CLASSIC

Freshman Jada Allen was named to the Tennessee Classic All-Tournament Team following the opening weekend
Allen finished the Classic with 24 kills, averaging 2.18 per set while hitting .408 over the weekend

WOFFORD MATCHUP

Friday's match against Wofford will be the second-ever meeting between the programs
The Wolfpack won the sole match 3-1 (30-25, 30-18, 29-31, 31-29) on Sept. 3, 2004

EAST CAROLINA MATCHUP

Saturday's contest will serve as the 45th meeting between the Pirates and Wolfpack
In the last meeting on Sept. 10, 2019, ECU walked away victorious in a hard-fought match, 3-2 (19-25, 19-25, 29-27, 25-21, 15-10)
NC State controls the series advantage with a healthy 39-5 lead in the series

COLORADO STATE MATCHUP

Saturday's game will be the third-ever bout and the first since the new millennium
Colorado State has won both meetings
The Rams won 3-0 (15-5, 15-2, 15-10) in the last game on Sept. 13, 1997
