A WIN ON SUNDAY WOULD
• Be the 976th win in program history (975-475)
• Be head coach Wes Moore's 758th career win (757-235)
• Be Moore's 200th win at NC State (199-66)
• Be NC State's 10th win in a row
• Be the Wolfpack's sixth home victory in a row
• Be NC State's 44th home win in a row over an unranked non-conference opponent
NOTING THE WOLFPACK (9-1)
• Through 10 games, the Wolfpack is nationally ranked:
2nd in three-point percentage (.419)
10th in scoring margin (+24.7)
11th in rebound margin (+12.6)
13th in field-goal percentage (.475)
18th in defensive rebounds per game (30.6)
21st in scoring offense (79.5)
22nd in rebounds per game (44.0)
22nd in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.22)
26th in three pointers per game (8.8)
27th in fewest turnovers per game (12.9)
• NC State's three-point shooting percentage (.419) and assist-to-turnover ratio (1.22) lead the ACC. The team has shot 50+ percent in five games and 40+ percent in all but one game.
• Eight Wolfpack players have taken at least 40 shots through 10 games, and each one of those women are shooting at least 40 percent from the field.
• Overall, the team has compiled a 47.5 percent clip from the field, which is second in the league.
• Diamond Johnson leads the team in scoring with 13.1 points per game, and Elissa Cunane joins her in averaging double figures with 12.3 per game. Both players rank in the top 20 in the league in scoring.
SERIES HISTORY (NC State leads 1-0)
• Sunday marks the second meeting between Saint Mary's and NC State.
• The Wolfpack and the Gaels met for the first time on Nov. 24, 2019 on Saint Mary's home court. NC State, ranked 14th at the time, defeated Saint Mary's by an 87-70 score in that matchup.
ROAD TO 200
Coach Moore is one victory away from 200 at NC State (199-66). If he hits that mark in the Pack's Dec. 12 home game against Saint Mary's, he will have accomplished the feat in just 266 games at NC State. He is on pace to become the fifth-fastest coach to reach 200 wins at an ACC program (behind Kay Yow's 257 games) and the second-fastest active ACC coach (behind Jeff Walz's 236 games).
RAINING THREES
• The Wolfpack hit a season-high 15 threes at Pitt, beating out its previous season high of 11. That number finished just one shy of tying the single-game program record of 16, which NC State has hit twice in the Coach Moore era.
• Nine different players contributed to that tally against the Panthers. In the Coach Moore era, there have been two occasions (2020-21 against Pitt and 2019-20 against UNCW) in which eight different players have hit a three, but Friday's game marked the first time nine players knocked down a triple since Moore arrived ahead of 2013-14.
PACK ATTACK
• Seven different players have led NC State in scoring this season, and the team had a different scoring leader in each of its first four games.
• The Pack is 8-0 in games during which it has at least three players score 10+ points.
• Five Wolfpack players are averaging 8+ points, and nine average 6+. Six players average 18+ minutes per game, and 10 players average 12+ minutes per game.
• Nine players have hit 10+ points in at least one game this season. Diamond Johnson (7), Raina Perez (6), Elissa Cunane (6), Kayla Jones (4), Jakia Brown-Turner (4) and Camille Hobby (3) have all done so multiple times.
