
Men’s Tennis to Host No. 40 Louisville

RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State men's tennis team is looking to continue its hot streak, as it faces No. 40 Louisville Friday at 4 p.m. at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center. The Wolfpack has won three straight ACC road matches and enters the match with a 12-10 (3-4 ACC) record.
Scouting Louisville:
Louisville holds a 17-4 (4-2 ACC) record. It has won its last six matches and only has one loss in its last 14 matches. Individually, No. 114 Christopher Morin-Kougoucheff leads the Cardinals in the singles poll. In doubles play, Parker Wynn and Sean Donohue check in at No. 50 in the doubles poll.
Last Time Out:
NC State added two road ACC wins last weekend with victories over No. 43 Notre Dame and Boston College to extend its ACC-win streak to three matches. Nick Horton led the way with a victory over No. 45 Josh Hagar at Notre Dame. Over the winning-streak, Ivan Saveljic and Alexis Galarneau have both won three-consecutive singles matches.
Pack In The Polls:
Horton headlines the singles poll for NC State and is ranked 74th in the ITA. The senior also holds ranked wins over four opponents. Alexis Galarneau checks in at No. 116 in the latest poll to round out the singles rankings for the Pack. In doubles play, Horton and Galarneau are ranked No. 52, moving up 13 spots from their previous rank.
