
Cross Country Women Finish 16th at NCAA Championships

TERRE HAUTE, Ind.- The NC State women's cross country team finished 16th of 31 teams with 456 points at the NCAA Cross Country Championships on Saturday, hosted by Indiana State in Terre Haute, Ind.
Senior Joanna Thompson capped off her cross country career with a 32nd place showing at her final championship to earn her second cross country All-American mention and the third accolade of her collegiate career.
Erika Kemp and Megan Moye rounded out the top three for the Pack women, as Kemp ran a time of 21:05.3 and Moye finished with a time of 21:26.7.
Sam Parsons represented the Wolfpack as an individual competitor in the men's division, running a time of 31:12.3 to finish 63rd of 246 runners in the overall standings.
