BLACKSBURG, Va. (AP) - Scott Wood scored 19 points to lead North Carolina State past Virginia Tech 70-58 Sunday night.
N.C. State (20-11, 9-7 Atlantic Coast Conference), which snapped a four-game skid to the Hokies and won 20 games in the regular season for the first time since 2005-06, also got 18 points from C.J. Leslie.

Virginia Tech (15-16, 4-12) lost its fourth straight and will be the No. 10 seed in the conference tournament.
N.C. State trailed early, but used a 16-2 run midway through the first half to take the lead for good. In the second half, the Hokies cut the Wolfpack lead to 51-47 on an Erick Green jumper with 10:30 remaining. But N.C. State answered with an 11-0 run and never looked back.
