Georgia Brown joined the Wolfpack in August 2013 as Assistant Athletics Director for Administration. She currently serves as the Director for Athletic Business Operations.
Prior to coming to NC State, Brown worked at the Atlantic Coast Conference office. She began there in August 2008 as Administrative Assistant for the Women’s Basketball department before being promoted to Assistant Director for Women’s Basketball and Assistant SWA in January 2010. She also served as a Director of Championships at the ACC.
A native of Sandy Cross, N.C., Brown ran track and field and cross country for the Wolfpack from 2003-07. She was a recipient of the prestigious Park Scholarship as an undergraduate student and earned her bachelor’s degree in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management in 2006. She additionally received an ACC post-graduate scholarship and remained at NC State to earn her master’s degree in the same program. She served for one year as a graduate assistant in the athletics department.
She is married to Lee Brown and they are the proud parents of two daughters, Hazel and Autumn.
