AS A JUNIOR (2024):
• Starting nose tackle in every game of the 2024 season.
• Tallied 36 total tackles and registered five quarterback hurries.
• One of the most improved players on defense in 2024.
• Recovered a fumble in the win over Northern Illinois, the Pack would go on to score a TD off that turnover.
• Namd to the preseason watch list for the 2024 Wuerffel Trophy.
• Has added 35 lbs. to his frame since arriving on campus.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2023):
• Backup nose tackle during the regular season, he earned the start in the Pop-Tarts Bowl vs. Kansas State.
• Notched four tackles in 22 snaps vs. Marshall, including 2 TFLs and 1.5 sacks - all while playing just 22 snaps.
• Caused a fumble vs. No. 10 Notre Dame.
• Played a then-career-high 19 snaps and tallied a career-high four tackles in that contest.
AS A FRESHMAN (2022)
• True freshman who saw increased action over the second half of the season.
• Played in six games, a total of 72 snaps.
• Tallied two tackles vs. Louisville and vs. Maryland in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl.
• Named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.
HIGH SCHOOL:
• Enrolled at NC State in May of 2022.
• Played on the defensive line at Carrollwood Day School for coach Marshall McDuffie. Played his first two years at Seffner Christian.
• Career Stats: Recorded 211 tackles, including 119 solo stops, during his prep career. Also added 73 tackles for loss and 32.5 sacks. Picked off a pair of passes and blocked a punt.
• Senior Stats: Finished with 50 tackles, 26 tackles for loss and eight sacks. Helped lead his team to a 7-3 record and the Florida 3A state playoffs.
• Junior Stats: Posted 46 tackles, 18 tackles for loss and 11 sacks. His team reached the second round of the Florida 2A state playoffs.
• Sophomore Stats: Tallied 76 tackles, 18 tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks. Named a Tampa Bay Times All-Hillsborough honorable mention selection. Helped Seffner Christian reach the Florida 2A semifinals.
• Freshman Stats: Posted 39 tackles, six tackles for loss and a pair of sacks.
• Rankings: The No. 26 strong side defensive end nationally, No. 53 player in the state of Florida, and a four-star recruit by Rivals. The No. 68 defensive lineman nationally and the No. 64 player in the state of Florida by 247Sports.
PERSONAL:
• Also played baseball at Carrollwood Day School. Cousin, Tyrie Cleveland, played WR at Florida and spent two seasons in the NFL with the Denver Broncos.
• During the offseason, started a program to feed the unhoused in downtown Raleigh once a week.
• Major: Sport management.
