RALEIGH, N.C. – Errol K. Seaver, who has spent the past seven seasons as the Director of Football Visual Production for NC State football, has been re-elected to his role as the Chad Bunn Legacy CSVA President, the Collegiate Sports Video Association announced.
Seaver joined the Wolfpack in 2019, after five years at BYU as Director of Football Video and Technology.
In May, he was named the Bob Matey National Video Coordinator of the Year by the Collegiate Sports Video Association (CSVA) for his work and for demonstrating determination, perseverance, and technical skill. He is only the second person to win the award twice and the first ever to win it at two different institutions (BYU, 2017).
Seaver received this award after also being named the 2024-2025 Atlantic Coast Conference Video Coordinator of the Year, his second time receiving the annual honor for the ACC in the last three years (2022-2023), and his fifth coordinator of the year award overall (2016-2017, 2017-2018 Independents at BYU, 2013-2014 Sun Belt at South Alabama).
Seaver is responsible for all technology used by the Wolfpack football team. This includes maintaining over 100 computers, more than 150 iPads, and five media servers. In addition, his staff provides video of all practices and games, as well as opponent and NFL games. He organizes and manages the in-house and cloud-based statistical analysis tools the coaching staff uses for game strategy preparation, while also maintaining access to content for more than 175 people.
The position of CSVA president was named after the late Chad Bunn in 2025. Bunn was one of the 18 charter members in 1994, and was elected as the organization's first president shortly after. He understood the need to develop an organization that would support the work of Video Coordinators across the country. His work was instrumental to growing the organization into what it is today as an avenue to provide support, development, and dialogue to the industry of sports video.
Seaver is entering his 7th year as CSVA's president, and 12th year overall on the executive board. This term will run until CSVA's annual conference in 2028.
The Collegiate Sports Video Association is an association of video coordinators across the continent involved in college football, college basketball, high school football, CFL, UFL and NFL. The organization began in 1994 and held its first conference the following year.
CSVA's main goals are to serve the members and provide a place for dialogue and development within the profession. Among the key principles of the CSVA, they strive to:
1. Evaluate professional standards among all Video Coordinators
2. Facilitate the exchange of information and technological innovations
3. Advance ethical procedures and quality techniques
4. Raise the awareness of the role that Video Coordinators play within the athletic environment.
