RALEIGH – The NC State women's basketball team will play Ole Miss for the fourth edition of the SEC/ACC Challenge on Wednesday, Dec. 2 at the SJB Pavilion. Time, television designations and ticket information will be released at a later date.
NC State and Ole Miss will play for the sixth time in the all-time series, as NC State leads 4-1 and has won the last three meetings. The last matchup between the two squads was also in the SEC/ACC Challenge in 2024, in which the Wolfpack took down the then-No. 18/18 Rebels, 68-61, at James T. Valvano Arena at William Neal Reynolds Coliseum.
The Wolfpack is 2-1 in Challenge games. NC State defeated Vanderbilt at home in 2023 (70-62), as well as Ole Miss in 2024, and dropped a close road game to No. 9/9 Oklahoma, 103-98 in overtime last season.
The first year of home/away designations for the Challenge was in 2024 to balance over a four-year period. The home/away expectation for the Challenge is for each institution to have two home and two away games over a four-year period beginning with the 2024 event. The name of the event rotates on an annual basis. The official name of the 2026 event is the SEC/ACC Challenge.
The full non-conference schedule for the 2026-27 season will be released at a later date. Season tickets can still be purchased HERE and more information about mini packs and single-game tickets will be available at a later date.
