ATHENS, Ga. – NC State men's tennis concluded its season in the second round of the 2026 NCAA Championship with a 4-0 loss to 12th-seeded host Georgia.

Led by their No. 3 doubles duo on court one, Georgia snagged the doubles point by claiming 6-2 wins on both courts one and three.

The Pack started off singles play hot, claiming the first set on five of the six courts. Jules Leroux and William Manning took their first sets after coming from behind in a tiebreaker.

Derrick Chen was able to defeat Ainius Sabaliauskas on court four to push the Bulldogs' lead to two. However, courts one, two, three, five, and six were all split with Georgia turning up their energy in their second sets.

Another point was given up on court five when Noah Johnston took out Charlie Camus, bringing the team score to 3-0 for the home team. Shortly after, Martin Borisiouk on one and Darius Pop on six were both battling a tiebreaker in their final set. With Georgia able to see the finish line by just clinching on either court, they were able to use momentum and the home crowd advantage to get it done on court one to advance to the Super Regional.

The Wolfpack finishes the season 17-8 overall with an 8-5 mark in conference action. The leader for the red-and-white, Martin Borisiouk, closes out his final collegiate campaign after earning All-American status back in the fall at the semifinals of the NCAA Individual Singles Championship.
