Track & Field Concludes ACC Championships with First Place in Women’s Mile & Second Place in Women’s 3000m

BOSTON, MA - The Wolfpack closed out the ACC Indoor Championships with four top-five finishes on Day three.
Freshman Sadie Engelhardt started the day finishing first in the mile, clocking a time of 4:32.59.
In the 3000m, Angelina Napoleon and Hannah Gapes went second and fifth, respectively. Napoleon earned the silver with a time of 8:56.75 and achieved first-team All-ACC honors. Gapes earned second-team All-ACC honors, clocking a season-best 8:57.95.
For the men, Ryan John earned second-team All-ACC honors, with a fifth-place finish in the triple jump with a personal best mark of 15.59m.
Overall, the women finished 11th with 30 points and the men finished 13th with 18.5 points

UP NEXT
The Wolfpack will close out the indoor season at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in Fayetteville, AR. The top-16 across the NCAA will qualify for the individual events and the top-12 for the DMR and relays will qualify.
