KANSAS CITY, Mo. – In the second release of the 2025 regular season United Soccer Coaches poll, NC State improves to fifth in the country. This ranking marks the program's highest under head coach Marc Hubbard and highest in the entirety of this poll, which began in 1996.
For the first time in the history of the United Soccer Coaches poll (which began in 1996), NC State men's soccer has landed in the top five of the NCAA. The program's previous best of eighth in the country was achieved last week, and last in 2018 before that.
From 1971 to 1995, the poll was conducted by the Intercollegiate Soccer Coaches Association of America (ISAA). Beginning with the 1996 season, the National Soccer Coaches Association of America assumed responsibility.
